RCMP in Hay River, N.W.T., are looking for a 37-year-old woman after receiving a missing persons complaint on Sunday.

Rachel Littlejohn, 37, of Lakefield, Ont., hasn’t been heard from since 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

RCMP and the Hay River fire department began searching the Old Town area in Hay River Sunday afternoon.

Littlejohn is described as a caucasian female with red hair, about 165 cm tall. She was last seen wearing jeans and a black or purple shirt with white stripes, and a ring with the word “dream” on it.

Police are now being assisted in the search by Ground Search and Rescue, community volunteers, the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary and aircraft patrols by the N.W.T. Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
