The N.W.T. government has issued a travel advisory for three sections of highway in the territory over smoke from wildfires.
People should expect delays on some highways
The N.W.T. government has issued a travel advisory for multiple highways in the territory over smoke from wildfires.
The advisory is for the following areas:
- Highway 6
- Highway 1, from kilometre 0 to 84
- Highway 1, from kilometre 260 to 294
The N.W.T.'s department of Infrastructure said people should expect delays and should check the N.W.T. highway conditions map for updates.
