Join CBC's chief political correspondent, Rosemary Barton, as she moderates the CBC News At Issue panel in front of a live audience at the Halifax Central Library on Thursday, April 10.
Alongside panelists Chantal Hébert, Andrew Coyne and Althia Raj, Barton will engage Nova Scotians in the lead-up to the federal election on April 28.
Part of that conversation will be broadcast on The National on April 10 with a special extended version on YouTube, CBC Gem and on the At Issue podcast.

Rosemary Barton is CBC's chief political correspondent. An award-winning and long time political journalist, she has interviewed many high-profile politicians including Prime Minister Mark Carney, former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, former Prime Minister Stephen Harper, and other top U.S. and Canadian officials.

Andrew Coyne is a columnist for the Globe and Mail. He has worked previously for the National Post, Maclean's and Southam News, contributing as well to a wide range of other publications in Canada and abroad, including the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, National Review, and The Walrus.

Chantal Hébert is a renowned freelance political columnist whose incisive commentary is featured across radio, television, and print media in both French and English. Known for her weekly contributions to CBC's The National, Hébert brings a profound understanding of Canadian politics to her audience. Her distinguished career and insightful analysis have made her a respected and influential voice in political journalism.

Althia Raj is an Ottawa-based columnist and host of the Toronto Star's It's Political podcast. A member of the CBC's At Issue panel, she previously served as HuffPost Canada's senior editorial manager and Ottawa bureau chief.
