CBC Nova Scotia is pleased to announce the hiring of a new journalist who will be dedicated to Cumberland and Colchester counties.
This is part of CBC's broader commitment to local news, which includes the hiring up to 30 permanent reporters to work in 23 under served communities across Canada. This expansion of local and regional news will increase CBC's footprint from 48 to 66 local stations and bureaus across the country.
Luke Ettinger will cover stories in Cumberland and Colchester counties. He will focus on broadening CBC's news coverage in these regions, and tell stories for and about the people of these counties and their communities.
