Nova Scotia spring, why have you forsaken us?
Snowfall greets Nova Scotians April 7
We swear Nova Scotians have a good sense of humour. We're the province that churns out 22 Minutes and Trailer Park Boys, after all. We can laugh.
But an April snowfall that dumped as much as seven centimetres on parts of Nova Scotia overnight doesn't have us laughing.
More snow, really?
In April?

I guess we should be grateful we're avoiding "cigarette butts that have been sitting there since November" season.
The only bright side of this snow is that it hides that Halifax looks like a post apocalyptic wasteland under the other snow.

Here's a poem Twitter user @saulnier_lee sent us about metrologist Peter Coade.
Ode to Coade.

Shovelling mode
Want my street ploade.
And, oh yeah, as a reminder CBC Nova Scotia's other metrologist Kalin Mitchell says the snow might not melt until May.
Happy shovelling.
