Canada Votes 2025: Argenteuil-La Petite-Nation
Val-des-Monts is now part of the region's easternmost riding

The Ottawa-Gatineau region's easternmost riding gains ground on its western flank, moving Val-des-Monts from Pontiac-Kitigan Zibi and a couple of areas from Gatineau.
It loses seven eastern communities to the new riding of Les Pays-d'en-Haut: Gore, Lac-des-Seize-Iles, Mille-Isles, Morin-Heights, Sait Adolphe d'Howard, Wentworth and Wentworth-Nord.
Check with Elections Canada to confirm your riding this time around because of the regular independent boundary review after the 2021 census.
Argenteuil-La Petite-Nation runs along the Ottawa River from Gatineau through Grenville-sur-la-Rouge, Montebello and Thurso to Lachute, going as far north as Val-des-Bois and Duhamel.
Stéphane Lauzon has pulled off three straight Liberal wins here, recently holding off the Bloc Québécois in two tight races. The riding boundaries were significantly different before that.
Campus advance voting is April 13 to 18, general advance voting is April 18 to 21 and the deadline to apply to vote by mail is April 22. Elections Canada has more information on voting options ahead of election day on Monday, April 28.
