Boundary changes are minimal in this Gatineau riding

Hull-Aylmer does not change too much in the riding redistribution. (Elections Canada)

Hull-Aylmer, which includes those two districts of Gatineau and makes up a good part of the city west of the Gatineau River, changes little in the riding redistribution process.

The regular independent boundary review that followed the 2021 census takes the area bordered by boulevards des Allumettières Saint-Raymond and des Grives and chemin Pink, and transfers it to Pontiac-Kitigan Zibi.

Except for Nycole Turmel winning it for the NDP in 2011, Hull-Aylmer has been Liberal since 1917. Greg Fergus, who went on to become House Speaker in 2023, has picked up more than 50 per cent of the vote in each of his three races.

Polls are open from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on election day on Monday, April 28. Elections Canada has more information on voting options.
