Man arrested after knife assault in eastern P.E.I., RCMP says
A man from Beach Point has been arrested following a knife assault in eastern P.E.I., RCMP say.

A man from Beach Point has been arrested following a knife assault in eastern P.E.I., RCMP say.
Kings District RCMP, the RCMP police dog unit and Island EMS responded to a 911 call reporting a knife assault around 7:20 p.m. Wednesday, according to a news release from the RCMP.
When they reached the scene, emergency crews found one person with significant injuries.
That person was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown after receiving emergency first aid, the release said.
The P.E.I. RCMP Major Crime Unit and RCMP Forensic Identification Services are investigating.
