The latest employer survey by the Workers Compensation Board of P.E.I. shows an all-time high in its service satisfaction.

In the fall, more than 500 Island employers took part in the telephone survey conducted by Corporate Research Associates.

83 per cent of employers surveyed believe the WCB is effective in providing service.

That's up up from 74 per cent from the previous study in 2013.

The vast majority of employers, 86 per cent, feel the WCB is fair to P.E.I. employers, up slightly from 85 per cent in 2013.

The 2015 results also show that 94 per cent of employers feel the board does a good job of keeping them informed, up seven percentage points from the previous survey.

The survey results are considered accurate to within plus or minus 4.1 percentage points, 95 times out of 100.
