How to follow CBC's Remembrance Day coverage

Watch, listen, stream local and national Remembrance Day coverage to honour and remember those who have served

Special coverage | Nov. 11

CBC News will be marking Remembrance Day on Monday with special local and national coverage.

This year marks a number of anniversaries for Canadian veterans — 80 years since D-Day, marking the beginning of the end of the Second World War; 10 since the end of the mission in Afghanistan; 60 years of peacekeeping operations in Cyprus; and the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force.

In the Maritimes

If you can't make it out to a Remembrance Day ceremony in person, CBC will host a Maritime Radio Special, live from the cenotaph at Halifax's Grand Parade at 10:55 a.m.

CBC Nova Scotia will also be live streaming the ceremony from Halifax's Grand Parade at 10:45 a.m.  Tune in to cbc.ca/ns, on CBC Nova Scotia's YouTube channel (in the viewer above) and on CBC Gem
