City of Regina approves 2% raise for non-unionized workers

City hall has approved a pay raise for its employees who aren't unionized.

Regina city council has approved a wage increase for its out-of-scope employees.

Council voted in favour of the two per cent pay increase at a council meeting on Monday.

The raise applies to all employees that aren't part of a collective bargaining unit.

The estimated total cost to the City is $433,000. 

The increase goes into effect retroactively on Jan. 1, 2016.
