Graham DeLaet finishes in 20th place at Olympics

It wasn't the finish he was hoping for, but Graham DeLaet still represented Canada well at the Olympics in Rio.

DeLaet finished in 20th place at four under par. Fellow Canadian David Hearn finished in 30th place at one under par.

The Weyburn, Sask., product started very well, shooting a five-under-par 66 in the first round.

Golf made its first Olympic appearance since the 1904 Games.

Great Britain's Justin Rose won the gold medal at 16 under par. Sweden's Henrik Stenson won silver, while Matt Kuchar of the U.S. took the bronze.
