2 charged with 2nd-degree murder in Regina man's death

Two men have been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in the death of 19-year-old Regina man Jason Martin. Police have been investigating since June.

Two men have been charged with second-degree murder in the death of 19-year-old Regina man Jason Martin.

Regina police were initially dispatched to the 2300 block of Reynolds Street after a report of an injured man at around 6:30 a.m. CST on June 1, 2024.

Paramedics brought Martin to the Regina General Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. 

The Saskatchewan Coroners Services has been investigating alongside police and the death has been declared a homicide, Regina's second of 2024.

Police say further investigation led to the arrest of two men Thursday. 

Tyler Blue Worme, 29, and Talon Lee Worme, 23, have both been charged with second-degree murder.
