Two shed fires in Saskatoon's Nutana Park neighbourhood on Saturday morning are considered suspicious, the city's fire department says.

At roughly 2 a.m., police were called to a shed fire behind a home at 41 Bell Cresc. When crews arrived, they located a shed and a fence on fire, according to a Saturday news release from the Saskatoon Fire Department.

Two houses down, at 45 Bell Cresc., another shed was found to be on fire.

Fire crews were able to quickly put out the fire at the first shed, and then proceeded to fight the fire at the second, which the department said was more difficult to extinguish.

There were no people in either of the sheds at the time. A damage estimate was not available Saturday morning.

A fire investigator was at the scene of the blazes Saturday morning, the department said.
