Provincial Police in Elliot Lake are now saying a drowning incident from the 1970s may be related to the body recovered Monday from Semiwite Lake in Mississagi Provincial Park.
Provincial Police in Elliot Lake are now saying a drowning incident from the 1970s may be related to the body recovered Monday from Semiwite Lake in Mississagi Provincial Park.
OPP confirmed a foot had been found by two fishermen on Friday and a body was recovered from the lake a few days later.
Police said the investigation is continuing with the Coroners officer and forensic identification will be conducted.
Foul play is not suspected.
