Another snowfall warning issued for parts of northwestern Ontario
Up to 25 cm of snow expected in some areas outside of Thunder Bay

Winter is still refusing to let go of northwestern Ontario.
On Monday, Environment Canada issued yet another spring snowfall warning for parts of the region, stating that 15 to 25 centimetres of snow could fall in the:
- Atikokan.
- Armstrong.
- Fort Hope.
- Geraldton.
- Longlac areas.
"Rain will change to snow late this morning, becoming heavy at times," the alert states. "There is also a risk of freezing rain during this transition. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions."
Meanwhile, winter weather advisories have been issued for:
- Ignace.
- Manitouwadge.
- Hornepayne.
- Nipigon.
- Atikokan.
- Cloud Bay.
- Kakabeka Falls areas.
Environment Canada says snowfall amounts near 10 centimetres are possible in those areas.
Snowfall is expected to begin Monday morning and start tapering off on Monday evening.
