Thunder Bay's Veterans Affairs office is reopening early in 2017.
The office, which was closed in 2014, will open its doors in a new location on Syndicate Avenue in January.
Kent Hehr, Minister of Veterans Affairs, said for the last two years, Veterans Affairs services were offered at Service Canada locations.

"Sure enough, our public servants were doing the best they could, but you couldn't keep up with the sheer volume of people who needed help," he said in Thunder Bay Thursday morning.
The Thunder Bay office is one of several across Canada that will reopen after being closed by the Conservative government more than two years ago.
The local office will employ eight staff.
