1 dead, 2 seriously injured after crash on Hwy. 401 in Scarborough
Vehicle crashed into guardrail, Ontario Provincial Police say

A person has died after a crash on Highway 401 in Scarborough on Monday, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said.
The crash happened just after 10 a.m. on the westbound collector lanes at Meadowvale Road, police said in a post on X.
Police said a vehicle crashed into a guardrail.
The driver was pronounced dead on scene, OPP said. Two passengers were taken to a trauma centre with serious injuries.
The highway was closed at Meadowvale Road until Morningside Avenue, OPP said.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dashcam footage is asked to contact police.
