Lane reopens on Highway 403 near Burlington after driver seriously injured in single-vehicle crash

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) closed a lane on Highway 403 near Burlington following a single-vehicle crash Thursday morning but it has since reopened.

Crash happened on Highway 403 just past Highway 6: OPP

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say a lane on Highway 403 near Burlington has reopened, following a single-vehicle crash Thursday morning.

OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt told CBC Hamilton the driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Smith said the crash happened on Highway 403 just past Highway 6.

The right lane was closed for a time Thursday morning but by 11 a.m. had reopened, OPP said.
