Man in life-threatening condition after being struck by vehicle in North York
Collision happened in Bathurst Street and Steeles Avenue W. area late Saturday, police say

A man is in life-threatening condition in hospital after he was struck by a driver in North York on Saturday night, Toronto police say.
The collision happened in the area of Bathurst Street and Steeles Avenue W. Police said they were called to the scene for a report of a personal injury collision at about 11:45 p.m.
In a news release Sunday, police said a man, 34, was driving a grey Honda Civic southbound on Bathurst Street when he struck another man, 62, who was crossing from the west side to the east side of Bathurst Street.
Toronto paramedics took the pedestrian to a local trauma centre in life-threatening condition. The driver remained at the scene.
Police's traffic services unit is continuing to investigate. There's no word on charges.
Any residents, businesses and drivers who may have security or dashboard camera footage of the area or collision, are urged to come forward to police.
