Power has been restored to all of the more than 6,700 people who experienced an outage on Tuesday, Toronto Hydro says.

The outage affected customers who live in the area of Yonge Street from south of Lawrence Avenue to north of Gerrard Street.

Toronto Hydro said on its outage map that the power went out at 6:25 p.m. By 11 p.m., power had been completely restored.

The outage also caused the TTC to turn off emergency lighting at two Line 1 subway stations.

The TTC said outage meant there were lower than normal levels of lighting at Wellesley and College stations.

Subway trains bypassed College station because of the lighting issue, but normal service has resumed, the TTC said.
