3 men charged with 2nd-degree murder in shooting of teen in Etobicoke

Three men have been charged with second-degree murder in a shooting at an Etobicoke apartment last month that left a 16-year-old boy dead and a 19-year-old man injured, Toronto police say.

Three men have been charged with second-degree murder in a shooting at an Etobicoke apartment last month that left a 16-year-old boy dead and a 19-year-old man injured, Toronto police say. 

Officers were called to a building on Capri Road, near The East Mall and Rathburn Road, on Feb. 4. around 5:30 p.m.

When they arrived, they found the pair with gunshot wounds. 

Paramedics took both to hospital, where Isaiah Fogah was pronounced dead. The 19-year-old suffered serious injuries.

On Saturday, Toronto police said in a news release that an 18-year-old man and a 20-year-old man have been charged with second-degree murder and attempted murder in connection with the shooting. 

They were both scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre Saturday morning.

On Tuesday, police said the 18-year-old has also been charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm.

He is scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre Wednesday morning.
