3rd man arrested, charged in connection with Mississauga fatal shooting
Harjeet Dhadda, 51, died in hospital after he was shot in a parking lot in May

A third man has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of a Brampton man this spring.
51-year-old Harjeet Dhadda was shot multiple times in a parking lot near Tranmere Drive and Telford Way in Mississauga shortly before noon on May 14, according to police. He later died in hospital.
Last week, a 22-year-old man was arrested in Surrey, B.C., in connection with Dhadda's death, Peel police said in a news release Thursday. The man was returned to Ontario and charged with first-degree murder.
"This has had a devastating impact on the victim's family and our community. This latest arrest reinforces our commitment to holding those responsible for targeting our community accountable, no matter where they are," said Deputy Chief Nick Milinovich in the release.
In May, police arrested and charged two other men, who are both 21-years-old, after an "intensive investigation."
The victim's family said in May that Dhadda was receiving both threats and extortion calls. Police said at the time that they believed the shooting was targeted.
Anyone with information about the incident is being asked to contact Peel police or Crime Stoppers.
