Windsor-made Pacifica sales soar in Canada as other Stellantis models struggle
Overall Canadian quarterly sales dip 10% compared to same period last year

Sales of the Windsor-built Chrysler Pacifica minivan soared in the second quarter of 2025 compared to the same period last year, according to FCA Canada.
Between April and June, the company sold 4,328 Pacificas — a 96 per cent increase compared to the second quarter of 2024 — per data FCA Canada released Wednesday.
The fresh sales numbers come amid uncertainty for the North American carmaker and its Canadian operations following U.S. President Donald Trump's tariffs on the automotive industry.
The Windsor plant, which builds the Pacifica as well as Grand Caravan and Dodge Charger Daytona, has already faced temporary layoffs as a result of the American levies on foreign parts and fully assembled vehicles.
The Grand Caravan, only available in the Canadian market, saw an 11 per cent dip in sales compared to last year's second quarter. Still, sales of the more budget–friendly minivan so far this year are 21 per cent higher than in the first half of 2024, per the data.
Overall, the company's Canadian quarterly sales dipped 10 per cent compared to the same period last year — on par with its U.S. counterpart.
Sales of the Pacifica and Voyager – the U.S. equivalent of the Caravan that's also assembled in Windsor — dropped by roughly 39 per cent south of the border, according to data from FCA US.
