Life-threatening injuries from transport truck, farm tractor crash in Lambton County

Provincial police are investigating a Thursday afternoon crash in rural southwestern Ontario between a transport truck and farm tractor.

They say it took place around 3:45 p.m. along Lambton Line — west of the community of Florence — and northeast of Dresden. The crash was in the municipality of Dawn-Euphemia Township, part of Lambton County.

Police say it resulted in a portion of the roadway being closed between Pantry School Road and Gould Road. 

"One individual was transported to a trauma hospital by Ornge air ambulance with life-threatening injuries," authorities said in an online statement.

Provincial police say they're hoping anyone with dashcam video or information about the crash can connect with them as soon as possible.
