Chatham-Kent police say a motorcycle rider was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a single-vehicle collision on the holiday weekend.

It happened just before noon on Sunday on Tecumseh Line between Pump Road and Dauphin Road — just west of the community of Prairie Siding.

The rider, police say, was a 66-year-old man from Harrow.

They say the investigation remains "open and ongoing," and are asking anyone with information to contact them as soon as possible.
