Motorcyclist killed in weekend Kingston collision

A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a pickup truck in Kingston on Saturday, according to city police. 

Crash happened at Brock Street and Palace Road Saturday evening

A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a pickup truck in Kingston on Saturday, according to city police. 

Kingston Police said in a news release they were called to the intersection of Brock Street and Palace Road at 6 p.m. 

The 36-year-old motorcyclist was driving south on Palace Road when they hit the side of the truck going west on Brock Street, according to police.

The unnamed motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the hospital. Police said nobody else was injured and the investigation continues.

The crash happened about two-and-a-half kilometres west of the city's waterfront.
