Windsor mental health and addictions crisis centre now accepts walk-ins 24/7

People seeking urgent care for a mental health or addictions crisis in Windsor can now receive walk-in crisis services 24/7.

Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare's Mental Health and Addictions Urgent Crisis Centre (MHAUCC) has expanded access once again, the care provider announced in a news release Monday.

It had previously begun 24/7 intakes from police and paramedics in February.

The centre is located at 1030 Ouellette Ave., adjacent to the Goyeau Street entrance of Windsor Regional Hospital's Ouellette Campus emergency department. 

Services are intended for people aged 16 or older.
