P.E.I. campaign trail: aerospace, education, environment

Federal Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau remains on P.E.I. Friday in support of the provincial campaign, while the Progressive Conservatives and NDP release more of their platforms.

Trudeau, who led a rally in Summerside Thursday evening, will stay in western P.E.I. Friday, with a pancake breakfast in Tignish and a tour of Vector Aerospace in Slemon Park in the afternoon, where he will hold a news conference.

The Tories will announce their education policy at 10 a.m. at a news conference at Stratford Town Hall. Leader Rob Lantz will meet with community groups in Stratford after that announcement before an afternoon of campaigning in his own district of Charlottetown-Brighton.

NDP Leader Mike Redmond will announce his party's environment policy outside Charlottetown city hall at 10 a.m.

Green Party Leader Peter Bevan-Baker will hold a news conference with two visitors, federal Green MP Bruce Hyer and New Brunswick Green MLA David Coon, at the Farm Centre in Charlottetown at 11 a.m.
