When the Rio Olympics opening ceremonies roll around, Canadian athletes will be wearing long black and red blazers with a giant maple leaf on the back.

The Canadian design duo between high-end label Dsquared2, Dean and Dan Caton, designed this year's Olympic uniforms for Hudson's Bay, and while the majority of the looks are more classic than the blazer (which is made out of windbreaker material), the collection as a whole is generating some major Twitter buzz.

A lot of users were loving the looks

Very few panned the collection's aesthetics

However, more users had practical complaints

Some had moral qualms about the collection

.dsquaw was a controversial fashion collection by Dsquared2 that was apparently inspired by "the enchantment of Canadian Indian tribes." Many considered the collection an inappropriate act of cultural appropriation and found its name offensive to aboriginal women.

Some just weren't impressed

But some Olympians and Paralympians were loving it
