Campaigning in Vancouver, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh says his party would spend $10 billion over the next four years to create 500,000 new child-care spaces in Canada if elected to form government. Singh's plans include making access to affordable child care a right enshrined by law and universal daycare that would cost $10 per day or less for all families by 2030.
