Burnaby councillors have given preliminary approval to fund another year of an award-winning city-run music program. Harmony For All provides long-term instrument loans and grants for music lessons for more than 4,000 Burnaby residents. The program was conceived by Coun. Joe Keithley. He is also the founder of punk rock band DOA. He says music and music education are a perfect way to unite a divided world.
