Pinoy Fest — the annual festival celebrating the Filipino community — returns Saturday to Swangard Stadium in Burnaby. The cultural celebration comes with added significance this year, occurring seven weeks after a car rammed into a group of people at Vancouver's Lapu-Lapu Day street festival killing eleven people and leaving the Filipino community in mourning.
