Cherry Wang from Miles Macdonell Collegiate won a $120,000 Schulich Leader scholarship to study at the University of Waterloo. Wang came to Canada from China without speaking any English, and now leads her school’s robotics, hackathon and coding clubs. She aims to eventually study at MIT.
