Environment and Climate Change Canada expects 50 to 100 millimetres of rain by Sunday afternoon with some areas, especially along the southern foothills, expecting between 100-200 millimetres, with rain turning to snow in mountainous areas.
The city says it is preparing for a significant accumulation, but is not expecting any communities to flood.
