Vancouver city councillor Mike Klassen is putting forward a motion that could see vacant Downtown Eastside storefronts become short-term spaces for local entrepreneurs. Klassen said he hopes the move will revitalize spaces in the neighbourhood for businesses, artists and social enterprises, and contribute to its economy.
