A talk with Darlene Compton about P.E.I.’s hopes when it comes to reducing provincial trade barriers
This week in Quebec City, provincial and territorial trade ministers met with their federal counterpart, Chrystia Freeland. One of the big announcements coming out of those talks was a plan to uncork cross-border alcohol sales by May 2026. Darlene Compton, P.E.I.'s minister of economic development, innovation and trade, sat down with CBC's Louise Compass for a conversation about that.
