The Property Brothers renovate your eardrums with song

The HGTV stars take on the unfinished basement of country music

The Property Brothers have released a country song as "The Scott Brothers." The HGTV stars have turned in their tool belts for cowboy hats.

Their single "Hold On" was released with a video that features a war veteran coming home to his family.

Panellist Rebecca Northan thought it would have been more appropriate for the soldier to come back to a freshly renovated home. Another cross-marketing opportunity sadly missed.

The song peaked at #38 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, which they may peak at as well, but regardless of their future fortunes, the brothers aren't the first to give their career a makeover. Host Gavin Crawford played a game with the panel called "Career Reno," quizzing our contestants on various stars who travelled to different galaxies, to either shine brightly (see: Drake) or explode spectacularly (see: Michael Jordan).

Listen to the quiz to see if you can beat our panellists.
