Tom Power on the East Coast life, hosting a radio show & the perfect bologna sandwich
Tom Power welcomes Candy to the CBC and reflects on his own first week on air. Originally from St. John's, Newfoundland, Tom joined CBC at age 21 as host of Deep Roots and became the permanent CBC Radio 2 Morning host in 2011. Tom shared some valuable advice from his own on-air career, saying that the most important thing is to get enough sleep.
Tom and Candy also discuss the unique language and culinary pleasures of the Canadian East Coast, to the delight of our online audience.
