Torquil Campbell joins Shad to share what he learned from Prince about performing, working, and how to be a captivating presence.

Although Campbell, like many of us, never met Prince he still had an outpouring of emotion when he heard the news that the artist had died, telling Shad that he wept upon hearing of of the artist's death.

For him, Prince's death reconfirms the importance of being yourself and being an artist. Campbell says it's "a reaffirmation of my belief in the transformative powers of art and how we all have it inside us and how we all have to keep it alive."

Campbell recounts watching Prince perform at Coachella a few years ago and how inspiring that performance was on him as a musician.

"By giving everything within himself, he forwarded other people that opportunity."
