The new Hello Barbie doll records conversations with your child, and Q's Cultural Hall of Shame curator Elvira Kurt says that's creepy.

In this week's instalment of Q's Cultural Hall of Shame, Elvira Kurt takes aim at Barbie 2.0.

Hello Barbie, which is set to hit toy stores this fall, is a new interactive doll that records children’s voices and then uploads them to a server in order to customize a conversation with them.

"So the already misguided talking Barbie has now morphed into creepy, eavesdropping Barbie," Kurt says.
