Canadian showrunner and screenwriter Graham Yost talks to guest host Allan Hawco about his two critically acclaimed TV series The Americans and Justified.

Yost -- who made his name in Hollywood writing the screenplay for the movie Speed starring Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock -- talks about what it's like running not one, but two major television productions, how he works with other creative people to get them to deliver their best work, and how his father, Elwy Yost, original host of Saturday Night at the Movies, influenced his own work.

Nicknamed "Weepie McWeepster" in the Justified writer's room, Yost also talks about his softer side and reveals what kind of television moments set him off the most.

"Farewells -- they get me in a story where people are saying goodbye," he says. "People stepping up for each other, that gets me every time."
