Steve Podborski's tour of Athletes Village

From Winter Olympics in Sochi, former Crazy Canuck and bronze medal-winning Canadian downhill ski racer Steve Podborski gives Jian a behind-the-scenes tour of the Athletes Village.

Podborski, who is serving as the Canadian Olympic Committee's chef de mission in Sochi, gives Jian a glimpse of some of the rooms, workout areas and hallways where athletes from around the world are mingling over the course of the Olympics.

"When they get here, they all feel equal, they all want to understand the other guy," Podborski says. "They're each other's heroes, and they get to see each other in the flesh, and they're pumped."

Podborski also explains why athletes save the real partying for the very end.
