What is Canadianity? Taggart & Torrens explain the strength behind Canada's kindness

Jeremy Taggart and Jonathan Torrens transformed their regular phone conversations into a podcast. Now, their successful show has spawned its own vocabulary and a book called Canadianity: Tales From the True North Strong and Freezing.

Canadians are known for their kindness, but Jeremy Taggart and Jonathan Torrens argue that it's more of a strength than a weakness. This is just one of the many opinions they regularly discuss on their podcast, Taggart & Torrens. Together, the Our Lady Peace drummer and former host of Jonovision, respectively, have transformed their conversations into podcast gold, a place where they like to keep things positive but are also unafraid to take on heavier topics like the death of a parent. The podcast has even spawned a book called Canadianity: Tales From the True North Strong and Freezing (out now).

Today, Taggart and Torrens join Tom Power to discuss what Canada means to them, how they shaped their podcast and why they feel it's important to share personal experiences on the show.
