No injuries after SUV crashes through Vancouver storefront
Driver told police he was making a turn when he was forced to swerve around a pedestrian
A driver and his dog are uninjured after the man crashed his SUV through the front of a Vancouver store early Wednesday morning.
It happened a little before 2 a.m. at Dunbar Street and 4th Avenue W.

The man's Lexus SUV smashed through the front windows at Banyen Books and Sound.
Neighbours say they heard a loud crash and felt the building shake. An upstairs neighbour said she was still awake after an earlier earthquake, and thought she was feeling an aftershock.
The driver declined to be interviewed by CBC, but told police officers that he was trying to make a left turn onto Dunbar Street when he was forced to swerve to avoid striking a pedestrian.
The pedestrian did not remain at the scene.
The driver told police the collision happened at a fairly slow speed, despite the extensive damage to the store.
