Man, 22, dead after serious collision in Fort McMurray

A 22-year-old man is dead following a serious motor vehicle collision in Fort McMurray, Alta., Thursday night.

A 22-year-old man is dead following a serious motor vehicle collision in Fort McMurray, Alta., Thursday night.

Wood Buffalo RCMP were called to the Parsons Creek area on Heritage Drive at around 9:20 p.m., where they found the man in a serious, life-threatening condition.

The man was driving a dirt bike when he collided with an unoccupied, parked vehicle, police said.

Witnesses reported seeing the dirt bike driving down Heritage Drive at a high rate of speed before the collision, police said.
