One man dead after house fire in Hamilton Mountain, police say

Police said they attended alongside the fire department to a residential fire on Cielo Court, near Stone Church Road E. between Upper Wellington and Upper James streets on Friday at 4 p.m.

One man is dead, police said, after a house fire in Hamilton.

Police said they attended a residential fire on Cielo Court, near Stone Church Road E. between Upper Wellington and Upper James streets on Friday at 4 p.m. alongside the fire department.

They said a man was fatally injured during the fire.

"At this time, investigators have determined the fire to be non-suspicious," police said in a news release, adding the investigation is ongoing.
