Man dies following motorcycle crash on Hamilton highway, say police
A 20-year-old motorcycle driver has died after a collision on Highway 403 in Hamilton, say police.
No charges have been laid and the investigation is ongoing
A 20-year-old motorcycle driver has died after a collision on Highway 403 in Hamilton, say police.
The crash, which also involved a sedan, occurred just after 2 p.m. Monday, said the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) on X. It happened on westbound side of 403, near the ramp to the Lincoln Alexander Parkway.
The man driving the motorcycle was transported to hospital in critical condition and died, the OPP said.
The driver of the sedan was not injured and remained on scene.
The highway and nearby ramps were closed for about four hours for investigation and cleanup.
No charges were laid, and the investigation by the Burlington detachment is ongoing, said the OPP.
