Cyclist seriously injured in east London crash

Police in London are investigating a crash between a car and a cyclist that happened Friday afternoon.

The cyclist is in stable condition, police say

Police in London are investigating a crash between a car and a cyclist that happened Friday afternoon in the city's east end. 

It happened at 3:50 p.m. in the area of Commissioners Road East at Hamilton Road. When emergency crews arrived they found the cyclist had sustained serious injuries. They were taken to hospital where they remain in stable condition, police said. 

Investigators are appealing to the public for help in the investigation. Anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the crash, or who may have dash-cam, business or residential video surveillance footage, or any other kind of information, is asked to contact London police or Crime Stoppers.
