Cyclist dead following collision in east London
The driver of the vehicle that hit the cyclist has spoken with police

A cyclist is dead following a collision with a vehicle in east London, police announced Monday afternoon.
The incident happened shortly before 2 p.m., in the area of Dundas and Vancouver streets, according to police, who say the 49-year-old man was pronounced dead after being rushed to hospital following the crash.
A typically busy stretch of Dundas Street was closed between Second and Loverage streets for the investigation.
Police have spoken with the driver of the vehicle, they said.
They're asking anyone who was in the area at the time of the collision who may have video footage of any kind to contact them.
Last week, another cyclist was hit at Commissioners Road East, at Hamilton Road. That crash happened Friday at approximately 3:50 p.m.
The cyclist was sent to hospital with serious injuries, and again, police are asking for anyone with dashcam footage to be in touch to help with the investigation.
